Here we go folks latest for my Fussy Foodie food diary, hope it helps with some inspiration for those of you with multiple food intolerances.
Sugar Free & Yeast Free (due to candida diet), intolerant to: gluten, dairy, eggs, some oily fish and cashew nuts.
NB. Also as part of a healthy balanced diet and to avoid energy lagows I am aiming to eat 5 times a day; three main meals and two proper snacks (all of which must contain some protein). Each main meal needs to be eaten slowly with a balance of 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein and 1/2 vegetables.
So here goes the latest on my food diary:
Food diary day 1 – Wednesday, 22 July: | |
Breakfast | Coconut Porridge with linseed sprinkle. |
Snack | – |
Lunch | Small jacket potato with dairy free spread and tomato pesto served with a salad of lettuce, tomato, pine nuts and cucumber. |
Snack | A few gluten free cornflakes with a few cubes of frozen pineapple, spoon of soya yoghurt, few brazils and a sprinkle of linseed. |
Dinner | Lettuce soup and 4 corn cakes then an Agar Jelly with 1/2 a kiwi. |
Other | Pint of 100% apple juice watered down with water (70% water) | Mug of hot vanilla rice milk. |
Food diary day 2 – Thursday, 23 July: | |
Breakfast | Gluten free cornflakes with oats, sprinkle of linseed and dessicated cocount topped with rice and soya milk mix. |
Snack | – |
Lunch | 3 oat cakes with lettuce soup topped with pinenuts. |
Snack | A few brazils and handful of frozen pineapple. |
Dinner | Small jacket potato with dairy free spread and tomato pesto served with a salad of lettuce, beetroot, tomato, pine nuts and pepper. Then a scoop of Booja Booja Ice Cream with linseed. |

Food diary day 3 – Friday, 24 July | |
Breakfast | Bircher Muesli with apple and mango juice, soya yoghurt, kiwi, linseed and dessicated coconut. |
Snack | A few brazils and a Fruitus bar. |
Lunch | Sardines in tomato sauce with a mixed salad and 4 corn thins with dairy free spread. |
Snack | A shannon fruit and a few brazil nuts. |
Dinner | Organic salmon oven baked with fresh herbs and dairy free spread. Served with a few oven baked potatoes and green beans. |

Food diary day 4 – Saturday, 25 June | |
Breakfast | Puffed rice cerealwith soya milk and vanilla rice milk. Topped with sprinkle of linseed, dessicated coconut and pumpkin seeds. |
Snack | 1/2 Fruitus bar and 1/2 a banana |
Lunch | Cambridge Market: Mixed olives, few slices of ham, some M&S tortilla chips and a tbsp of houmous. |
Snack | A few Anglesey crisps, an apple and handful of mixed seeds. |
Dinner | Take Away Curry (no dairy) – chicken curry, chickpea curry, 2 poppadoms and rice. |
Other | Glass of 100% apple juice | a cheeky Gin and Tonic | Mug of frothy soya. |
Food diary day 5 – Sunday, 26 July | |
Breakfast | Puffed rice cerealwith soya milk and vanilla rice milk. Topped with sprinkle of linseed, dessicated coconut and pumpkin seeds. |
Snack | – |
Lunch | Cafe: Cajun chicken with lettuce and sundried tomato. Then 2 cubes of 85% chocolate, few seeds and an apple. |
Snack | 3 oatcakes with Sugar Free Fruit Spread |
Dinner | Squash and fennel soup with 3 oat cakes and dairy free spread. Then apple Agar Jelly. |
Other | Mug of cocoa soya. |
Food diary day 6 – Monday, 27 June | |
Breakfast | Coconut Porridge made with soya and rice milk combo. |
Snack | Soya yoghurt with seeds, red skin peanuts, a kiwi and cocoa sprinkle. |
Lunch | Stir fry: Prawns, thick rice noodles, macadamia nuts, thai spices, onion, green beans and red pepper. |
Snack | Scoop of Booja Booja Ice Cream with linseed and dessicated coconut. |
Dinner | Squash and fennel soup with 2 oat cakes and dairy free spread. Then indulgence of Booja Booja Ice Cream 4/5 scoops. |

Food diary day 7 – Tuesday, 28 July | |
Breakfast | Coconut Porridge made with soya milk. |
Snack | – |
Lunch | Cafe: Mixed chicken salad |
Snack | 1 of my Chocolate Muffins with Sugar Free Fruit Spread |
Dinner | Stir fry: Prawns, thick rice noodles, macadamia nuts, thai spices, onion, green beans and red pepper. |
Other | Glass of apple juice |
NB. In my food diary I have not included all the water and mugs of Ginger tea I drink.
So this week in my Fussy Foodie diary a bit of over indulgence with some Booja Booja Ice Cream – every girl needs a treat now and again!
